Boy Apocalypse is the alter ego of Grant Genske, a Los-Angeles-based songwriter, singer, producer and DJ. Combining an electronic artist's production sensibilities with intimate pop vocals and visceral lyric writing, Boy Apocalypse has carved out a sound that is one part EDM and one part pop.

In addition to his solo work, Boy Apocalypse has been a featured vocalist on tracks with EDM heavyweights like Adventure Club and Bear Grillz and remixed a number of songs for artists including gospel legend Duranice Pace. Perhaps his most important collaboration is BOY2K: a duo he created with fellow LA-based artist Boy Untitled. Most recently described by Dancing Astronaut as a “kaleidoscopic tapestry” and Wonderland as  “addicting” and “sonically expansive,” BOY2K is already making waves in dance music. Since the group first debuted in 2022, BOY2K has shared dozens of remixes, generated viral success and hundreds of thousands of streams, and nurtured a loyal fanbase that loves their radically queer approach to dance pop.

Boy Apocalypse is gearing up for the release of his debut album Cathedrals: an electronic confessional rooted in spiritual confusion, rampant desire, and the search for meaning in a collapsing world. The album traces the fallout of faith—religious, romantic, and artistic—through late nights, empty dance floors, and the warped intimacy of digital life. With lyrics that move from brutal honesty to surreal irony, Boy Apocalypse spirals through addiction, ambition, and self-doubt, only to find fleeting grace right where he left it: on the dance floor.
